Hi, I'm Tanya Elise, the face behind 'Lady Harmony'.

 

I thought I would start by giving you a little bit of a rundown on who I am and why I do what I do, in a not-so-formal manner because at the end of the day I’m not so different from you.

 

Just like that of many beautiful souls, my journey has been filled with its share of challenges, unexpected turns, victories, and setbacks. Through these experiences, I embarked on a search for answers, purpose, and guidance, and along the way, I fell in love with all things wellness, healing, and community.

 

And, although every single one of us has experienced many different challenges to different degrees, I’m sure we can all agree that loving, healing and understanding ourselves and others on a deeper level is what is needed for us to rise above our circumstances.

 

So, although my business name sets a preconceived idea that 'I am' Lady Harmony, I don’t identify with 'being' Lady Harmony. Instead, it represents individuals who are in search of the harmony that simultaneously exits when one is aligned and honouring their inner and outer self. That being, the acknowledgement, acceptance and forgiveness for the light side and the shadow side of all that we are; past, present and future.

 

It is my personal belief that we are here to connect, play, learn, experience, grow and bloom and that we as individuals give ourselves the permission to do so. It is my personal mission in this life to experience growth and connection in all its forms. Whether that be through holding space for others or through others holding space for me.

 

I believe that it is our birthright to feel safe. To be loved. To be supported. To be heard and understood. It is through my own experiences of falling and rising that I am able to sit here today and share my gifts with you...

 

In 2015, my foundations collapsed in on themselves like a sinkhole in the earth. My relationship breakdown was unlike most but it set the ball rolling for huge changes to my housing situation, work commitments and, my physical and mental health. I honestly felt like I was trying to crawl out of a sinkhole for years. What I overcame during this time in my life was by far some of the most challenging experiences I’ve had to face to date.

 

However, I now understand that not every season is for blooming… and that sometimes what falls away, was always meant to fall away.

 

So, as you sit here reading this section, understand that I’m not so different from you. Instead, I am here to share the space, to share my wisdom and to grow with you because I am not above you, I am here with you, I am here for you, and I am willing to work alongside you and support you on this forever-changing journey, like many did for me.
